As a passionate wine lover and master of wine, where my work takes me tasting wine almost every day: at the top of my wish list for an aperitif might not always be Champagne or a bubbly. When I get the opportunity to have a Gin & Tonic, I will grab that opportunity in a flash of a second. But also, being a person who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I have always found the regular Gin & Tonic a bit too sweet, and to make it less sweet, you need more Gin, and that goes to your head which is not great… So there’s nothing better than having a Gin & Tonic where someone as innovative as Susanne Schneider has created this beautifully flavored Gin with everything you would wish for in a Gin & Tonic, but without the sweetness. So this H2O is such a clever idea being able to create a Gin that can satisfy even a very demanding master of wine who’s living on her palate. Then this is like a dream scenario.

For several years now, I have discovered my love for gin. I have tried so many, experimented with different ingredients, tried the whole range of tonics - and in the end, I have remained a fan of pure and unadulterated gin and its classic juniper note.
And now I find in South Africa the "pure form" of this classic. H2O Gin - to enjoy only with a hint of African salt (conveniently supplied in a nice little linen bag) and soda or sparkling water.
A completely new gin experience. No unnecessary additives, much less sugar - Gin at its best!
